Thomas Matthew Desser

DESSER Thomas Matthew Desser age 30, through an accidental fall, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Sunday, August 17, 2014. Thomas was preceded in death by his grandfather Donald M. Buffin, Sr. He will be lovingly remembered by his parents Matt and Cindy Desser; sister Jennifer Desser; loving fiancAC.e Devon Marsiglia; nephew Little Tommy; grandparents Donna Bufffin, Thomas ( Jane) Desser; Uncles/Aunts Joseph (Lisa) Buffin, Donald Buffin and Alexandra, many Desser Uncles and Aunts; many nieces and nephews.

Tommy graduated from Davenport University with honors in Hospital Administration. He was employed at Pine Rest Hospital as a Health Administrative Assistant. He also worked at the B.O.B. on weekends. Tommy was a loving individual who gave life to others. Tommy was a wonderful, well-liked person who cared about others. He loved his family and he cared about his many friends. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and considerate. He touched many lives.

Visitation with the family will be held from 6 - 9PM, Thursday, August 21, 2014 at Cook Funeral Home (East Building) - 4235 Prairie St SW, Grandville with a Vigil beginning at 8:30PM. Funeral Mass will be held at 11AM Friday, August 22, 2014 at St. Pius X Catholic Church - 3937 Wilson Ave SW, Grandville, MI with visitation starting at 10AM. Father Chris Rouech will be officiating.
