Thomas J. Staal, age 55, of Byron Center, went to be with the Lord, January 4, 2015. He is survived by his sons Jared (Sarah) Staal, Geoff (Jillian) Staal, and Ben Staal; his siblings Carol (Richard) VandeGutche, Pete (Judy) Staal, Jim (Diane) Staal, Kathy (Tim) Knott, Mary DeWitte, and Mark (Karen) Staal; Joan Staal, the mother of his sons; many nieces, nephews, extended family and Skeeter his cat.
Funeral services will be held 3 pm Saturday at Faith Community Church, 5250 Byron Center Ave., S.W., Wyoming, with Pastor Roger Groenboom. The family will receive relatives and friends Saturday from 1 - 3 pm at church. The family welcomes memories and messages in their online guest book at www.cookcares.com. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Stroke Foundation.
