Veronica Lyn Baer

Veronica Lyn Baer, age 30, went to be with her Lord Monday, July 1, 2024. Veronica was preceded in death by her five angel babies; grandparents Mervyn and Helen Bremmer, Fred Baer; and nephew, Zachary Brooks. She will be remembered by her five children; parents Cindi and Gerry Baer; two sisters; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Veronica was a caring, giving person, always welcoming to everyone she met. She was so thoughtful and inclusive, no judgment ever. She had a sense of humor and loved sarcasm almost as much as she loved pickles. Her children were her world. The love she had for them and their wellbeing was apparent in every aspect of life. Veronica was scheduled to graduate college with a business degree in 2027, but expected to graduate early and was a straight A student. She loved animals and helped her niece, who was more like a sister, in any way she could with rescue. She will be missed.

Visitation with friends and relatives will take place from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday, July 8, 2024 at Cook Funeral Home (West Building), 4235 Prairie Street SW, Grandville, MI 49418. A celebration of Veronica’s life will commence 3 p.m. Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at Cook Memorial Chapel (East Building), with visitation one hour prior to service. Pastor Bud Pratt will be officiating. In honor of Veronica and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Harbor Humane Society - https://harborhumane.org/
