Walter was preceded in death this past December by Barbara, his wife of over 50 years.
He will be lovingly missed by his sons Michael Moor and William Moor; grandchildren Jerrica Moor, Claire Moor, Genevieve Moor, Jewelianna Moor and Brandon Moor; and several nieces and nephews.
Walter was caring and committed to his family; he was hard-working to assure his family had what they needed. He served his country proudly during the Korean conflict in the U.S. Army. Walter spent over 30 years working for the FAA while also serving as a flight instructor and teaching at Kent State University.
The family wishes to express special thanks to all the nurses and staff of Grand Village Assisted Living for their loving and compassionate care.
No services are planned at this time.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Walter to Disabled American Vets.
The family welcomes memories and messages in their guest book on line at www.cookcares.com.
