William (Willem) Donker, age 95, passed away on January 5, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents Leendert and Margaretha (Jansze) Donker; sisters Trijntje (Willem) Joha, Raampje (Cornelius) van Klaveren; brother, Pieter (Rympje) Donker; sisters-in-law Geraldina ( Ferdinand) Schonewille, Willempje (Johannes) Nieman; and brothers-in-law Pieter Noordam, Bernhard (Gerda and Catherine) Ariesen and Karel Ariesen. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 66 years, Cornelia (Ariesen) Donker; children Margaretha (Ronald) Borst, David (Marianne) Donker; grandchildren Rachel (Nathan) Hansen, Joel (Marie) Borst, Hannah (Grant) VanderWall, Laura (Kase) Knochenhauer, Kyle (Melissa) Donker; great-grandchildren Andrew, Elizabeth, Lydia, Abigail, Isaiah, Elaine, Alton, Theodore, Caleb, and another little blessing on the way; sister, Margaretha Noordam; sister-in-law, Karen Ariesen; and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. William was a faithful husband, father, Opa, and follower of Jesus Christ. He was especially fond of mechanics. The family would like to give special thanks to Sunset Manor and Villages and to Brookcrest Rehab and Life Center for the wonderful care they provided. Private family services will be held at this time. William will be laid to rest at Georgetown Cemetery.
