

Bill was born in Adrian, Michigan the son of Richard and Evelyn (Butler) Hoffman. Bill proudly served his country in the United Sates Army from 1956-1959 and retired after 33 years from the Research Department of Post Cereals in Battle Creek.
Bill leaves behind his loving wife of 53 years Luann; his children Steven (Lucy) Hoffman, Craig (Kelly) Hoffman, Curt (Katie) Hoffman; six grandchildren Grant, Aidan, Maxwell, Samuel, Emma and Ainsley Hoffman.Also surviving are his sisters Carol (Philip) Daisher, Marjorie (William) Gentner, Lana (Robert) Jett and two brothers Brian and Mark Hoffman along with many nieces, nephews and extended relatives.
Funeral services for Bill will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 10, 2016 at the Wesley Park United Methodist Church, 1150 32nd St., S.W., Wyoming, MI. Reverend Dean N. Prentiss officiating.
Bill’s family will meet with friends and relatives Friday, September 9 from 6-8 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home (West building), 4235 Prairie St., S.W., Grandville, MI and one hour prior to services Saturday at the church.
In lieu of flowers, to honor Bill, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Faith Hospice, 2100 Raybrook Ave., S.E. # 300, Grand Rapids, MI 49546 or Lewy Body Dementia Association, 912 Killian Hill Rd., S.W., #103, Lilburn, GA 30047.
