Dear Luann, Steve, Craig, Curt and Family - We are saddened to learn of Bill's passing and just wanted you to know how important he was in our lives as we were your pastoral family back in the 90's. Will will miss his smile and positive spirit and will never forget the welcoming and support he (and you Luann) gave us when we moved to Battle Creek. And we will hold all of you in our prayers as you completely release Bill into the loving hands of God himself, knowing that he's loved and cared for in ways beyond our knowing...and that you will see him again - completely whole and better than ever! Steve - my brother from another mother, I love you. Having recently loss my father I know how hard losing ones parent is regardless of all the things we tell ourselves about them being-in a better place and that they are at peace and no longer suffering. So feel the feelings, embrace them and know that you are not alone and are loved by many. You were so supportive of me and my family during our time of loss and I want you to know that I am here for you and your family as you were for mine. I only met your dad a couple times, but those few meetings was all I needed to know that he was good people. That and with your mother he raised a man who I admire, respect and love like a brother, and someone I consider a best friend, and for that I am ever indebted to him and your mom. As we both say, getting old sucks. But the bonus is we will do it as life long brothers from another mother with our families supporting one another through good times and the sad.

Luann, I'm so sorry to read of Bill's passing. He was a wonderful man. I never saw him when he wasn't smiling. He was always so kind, generous and helpful.
