William Nolan

He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Nolan; parents Victor and Veronica Nolan; sisters Peg Nolan and Barb Krohn.

He will be remembered by his children Anne (Roy) Vawter, Teresa (Kelly) O’Riley, Jeff Nolan, Jennifer (Andrew) White and Tim (Beth) Nolan; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters Helen Salasky and Fran (Tom) Howard; sisters-in-law Gladys Sudeikis and Linda (Gerry) Stein; many nieces, nephews and friends.

Bill was a lifelong teacher, coach, and educator. He enjoyed woodworking, cooking, and caring for many dogs. Bill loved spending time with family and especially his grandkids and great-grandkids.

Visitation with relatives and friends will be held from 1 - 3 p.m. Sunday, July 29, 2018 at Cook Funeral Home (West building), 4235 Prairie, S.W., Grandville, MI 49418. Interment is at Lake View Cemetery, South Haven, Michigan, at a later date.

In honor of Bill and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Holland Home Foundation in William Nolan’s name (2100 Raybrook Street SE, Suite 300, Grand Rapids, MI 49546).
