
Mr. Osborn was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Jim Wisner and Margaret Frasier; four brothers, Lemuel Julia Osborn, Daniel Rose Osborn, Edgar Margaret Osborn, Lewis Anna Osborn.
William is survived by his spouse of 54 years, Wilma; one daughter Sally Roger Sorenson of Caledonia; two sons, William R. Osborn, Jr., of Kentwood and Capt. Matthew Osborn of New Castle, IN; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; one brother, Charles Lillian Osborn of Bridgeport, NJ; and many nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 24 at 1 p.m. from the Byron Center Baptist Church, 7343 Byron Center Ave. SW, Byron Center, MI 49315, with Pastor John Russell, Rev. Jay DeBoer and Capt. Matthew Osborn officiating.
Interment in Rosedale Memorial Park.
The family will meet with relatives and friends on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home, 2067 84th St. SW, in Byron Center.
