
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Richard, Charles and Joseph Taube of New Jersey.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years Claire; his children, Denise Taube, Gail Taube, Bill Barbara Taube, Richard Kathleen Taube, Wayne Nadine Taube; 13 grandchildren; sister Martha Fuchs of Las Vegas, Nevada; nieces, Lillian Tom Murray and Charlene Langfur.
'Rudy' served our country during WWII. He was also a pitcher for several semi-pro baseball organizations and was inducted into the Bergen County Baseball Hall of Fame in 1987.
The funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at Cook Memorial Chapel 4235 Prairie St. SW - east building.
The family will meet with relatives and friends 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Cook Funeral Home, Grandville - west building.
Memorial contributions may be made to The American Heart Association or The American Lung Association.
