He was preceded in death by his parents Jozsef and Ida Barabas (Simo); siblings Laszlo Barabas and Ida Barabas.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Irma Barabas; children Zoltan (Jennifer) Barabas, Csaba (Rebecca) Barabas, Ilona (Zoltan) Kovecsi; grandchildren Angel, Brooke, Cheyenne, Brandon, Jesse, Brittany, Bridgett, Barna, Olivia, Liam, Zoltan, and Zsuzsanna; great-grandchildren Botond, Amelia, Aiden, Tamara, Daniel, Abel, Bence, and Beata; sibling Jozsef (Gizella) Barabas; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Zoltan and his wife emigrated from Romania to the United States with their two sons in 1988. He worked as a woodworker until 2010. After his retirement, Zoltan loved to watch his kids and grandkids play soccer, and tend his rose garden. Most of all, he loved his family.
