Mrs. Mills was one of the sweetest and finest Christian ladies I have ever known, with a wonderful sense of humor.  She welcomed all into her home, where she greeted you with a big smile and warm hug!  She reared her four daughters to be just like her!

I haven't seen my cousin Barb, since I was a kid. She will be greatly missed. Praying comfort and for God's peace that surpasses all understanding for the rest of the family and friends. Love to you all. Amy

Our hearts are heavy for the loss of Barbara. My husband Larry and I meet Barbara shopping at Walmart. Over the many years she became a dear friend who was also from Michigan and moved to Texas like we did. We looked forward to seeing her on our shopping trips and always checked out with her. Even long lines couldn't keep us from waiting to checkout and visit with her. She was a shining star in her work with Walmart and someone who made it a joy to shop.
Today heaven has a beautiful angel who moved their to live and enjoy all eternity. Our sympathy and deepest condolences go out to Barbara's family who she dearly loved. We pray the days ahead are filled with God's comfort.
Barbara will be truly missed and always loved.

My deepest condolences go to all Barb's family and friends.  I had the great privilege to have known Barb and my life is richer for  it.  Like so many others I met her through Walmart.   She was my coworker and helped train me;  I learned more by watching her than any program the company could provide.  She made me better at my job and a better person.   She genuinely cared about her customers' lives and loved chatting with them.  I will miss her very much.  Farewell and rest well knowing you made the world a better place.

Barb was our special friend.  Both my husband and I have been a friend for many years from shopping at WM.  We knew her schedule like the back of our hand so that we made sure to go when she was there.  We'll miss her so much.  She loved how Tom would line up all our items one at time just for her.  He always told her she could only scan one item at a time and she'd laugh and agree.  No matter how bad her day was going she'd always light up when she saw us come in the store and say she only came to work that day because she knew we'd be upset not seeing her.  It will not be the same without her.  We miss you my friend very much.  I still remember the last day I saw you and how I missed seeing you on that Saturday only by a few minutes.  Only if I could have said good by for one last time.  Our prayers are with your entire family as I know they miss you as much as we do.  Love you always Tom and Cindy

I like many others was blessed to know Barb through WM.  We've shared lots of laughs over the years, in fact, just the Sunday before the Lord called her home.  What gift she was, she placed a stamp on my heart forever and will be truly missed.   
I will be praying for the family in the days/years ahead.  I know she loved her family dearly, we spoke often about you all.

I live only 3 blocks from the Walmart that Barb worked at and was there almost every single day for something.  No matter how long Barb's line was, she was worth the wait. Always cheerful and welcoming with kind words of true care.   Even my neighbors waited in her lines just to see her smile and joke with. 
She will be dearly missed by so many.

I worked with Barb at WM for a very short time at the end of 2018, beginning of 2019. In that short time she made such an impact on me. She was always so sweet and made me feel welcome from day one. I was so heartbroken to hear of her passing. My condolences to her family and friends. 

Hello- My name is Lori, and I was deeply saddened to hear of Barb's passing. She has been a light I look forward to seeing when I have visited WalMart for the last several years. I am a frequent shopper- a mother of four growing children- so I saw her a lot! I count it a privilege to have visited with Barb so many times. She always asked how I was doing and we chatted about our days. I have also counted it a privilege to pray for her- and have often prayed for her peace and joy. I now am praying for your whole family- that God's peace and joy would surround your grief and sorrow. May you feel His presence in this time of pain. May He be your strength and give you hope!

With great sadness I send my condolences to you and your family for the loss of your mother.  So many people had the privilege to get to know Barb through her workplace.  She was so easy to talk to and just loved her great sense of.  When  I first met her I said, oh your that girl they named that song after - "Barbara Ann"  She didn't miss a beat she said, "Sure that's me."  Always caring, had a bright smile an just a great person to know.  Thank you for sharing the family photos, it put a face on the people she so lovingly talked about.

I've never even met Barbara but my sister told me about this lady that checks out her groceries and how much she'll miss her. When I read all of the comments and looked at the pictures it brought tears to my eyes. I can only imagine the people that would have loved to attend her service under different circumstances. RIP Barbara.

When my family and I moved to Flower Mound 5 years ago, Ms. Barbara was the first associate at the Walmart we checked out with.  From then on, we never failed to go through her line when she was working.   My 6 year grew up asking if we could go see Ms. Barbara when we went shopping.  She was such a sweet lady, who loved everyone!!  We are very sad to hear of her sudden passing.  You are dearly missed Ms. Barbara,  may you Rest in Peace.

I will miss seeing this lady! I too, like many others on here, always looked before I checked out to see Barbara! She was a talker and I’m a talker. She blessed more people than she probably even knew she did. I will continue to pray for you guys because if I loved her and will miss her, I can’t imagine your emptiness.

I knew Barb through my best friend Cherry. I am forever grateful to have known her. She loved my bff dearly and I know their relationship enriched her life in such a beautiful way. Not just b/c they were mother and daughter but b/c they were connected in a way very few ever get the chance to know one another, heart and soul and much deeper than words. Barb always welcomed me with open arms into her home and into her heart and it is rare in life you meet someone that chooses to love you first and get to know you later. My best friend has the same kind of heart as her mother Barb, big and welcoming and full of love. Barb will live on through her heart and continue to give the world her unconditional love. Thank you Cherry for allowing me the chance to be loved by your mom. Thank you for sharing her with me. I am grateful for the precious moments of her time that she allowed me to be apart of her life. She is one amazing lady!

Barb was the soul at the Neighborhood Walmart.  I would always make sure I got in her line.  Just the few minutes to chat as she rang up my items was worth the drive to Walmart.  She was always so happy, bubbly and conscientious.   You always knew Barb was there.  She had so many friends as customers.  We all loved her and are deeply saddened by the tragic news.  Rest In Peace Barb.  We miss you already and are so thankful you touched our lives in such a profound way.  Enjoy your history books in Heaven.  I know you will save us a place..Sad Day..But a Happy Day knowing we got to know you Barb Mills.

We always enjoyed visiting with Barb when checking out at WM.  We tried to use her lane every time.  She is terribly missed.  We are praying for the family.
