Bonnie was preceded in death by her beloved husband of nearly 71 years, Monty Barrett; her parents, Doyle and Velma Harrison; her brother, Leroy Harrison; and two sisters, Betty Jo Jackson (Kenneth) and Doylene Dipprey. She is survived by her children: Randy Barrett (Toni), Cindy Bradburn (Joe), and Beverly Willard (Karl); her grandchildren: Daphne Goodgion (Chad), Ty Barrett (Jen), Courtney Bradburn, Nick Bradburn (Alli), Taylor Willard, Zach Willard, Bryce Willard, and Mitch Willard; and her great-grandchildren: Trey Barrett, Cole Barrett, Coy Goodgion, and Austen Goodgion. She is also survived by her brother Kelly Harrison (Dina), brother-in-law Dub Dipprey, and numerous cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members.
A devoted homemaker and farmer’s wife for much of her life, Bonnie also co-owned a gift shop in Clovis, New Mexico and worked in the Bovina school cafeteria. She lived on the family farm in the community of Oklahoma Lane before retiring to Lubbock and eventually settling in Lantana for the past 11 years. Bonnie found joy in traveling but treasured time with her family above all else. She loved ice cream, shopping trips, and rocking babies—simple pleasures that brought her great happiness. She brightened everyone's day with her beautiful smile. Bonnie’s warmth and love will forever be remembered by those who knew her.
In accordance with her wishes, Bonnie will be cremated and placed next to her loving husband. Friends and family are invited to gather for a graveside service on February 21st at 1:30 p.m. at Lockney Cemetery in Lockney, Texas.
