

Charles Richard Jasper, 67, passed away peacefully at his home in Saginaw on Sept. 30 VISITATION: Saturday, Oct 4, 2014 from 6 to 8 pm at J.E. Foust & Son Funeral Home, 523 S. Main Street, Grapevine, Texas Born August 5, 1947, in Fort Worth, Texas, the son of Robert Charles and Mary (Brady) Jasper, Charles worked as a maintenance technician for the United States Post Office for over 27 years. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He had a gift for fixing things, especially the machines at the Post Office, where he was known by the name “Jam Buster”. Charles would get calls on his days off from work with questions on how to fix a machine that had broken down. He loved to sing. He was a devoted member of the Latter Day Saints Church and was a loving and caring family man. He was preceded in death by his parents; and by his first wife, the mother of his children, Linda Jasper. Charles leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 9 years, Chaletta Jasper of Saginaw; daughter and son-in-law, Julia (Will) Gee of Saginaw, son, Kevin Jasper also of Saginaw; brothers, Patrick Autrey and wife Clover of Keller, and Clayton Autrey of Fort Worth; sisters, Sharon Hodnett of Fort Worth and Sandy Watson and husband Jim of Cobb, California; aunt, Wanda Ragsdale of Cedar Hills.
