

Charles “Chip” Andrew Boyd, 52, of Flower Mound TX passed away on March 22, 2026. A native of Augusta, Georgia, Chip was born on November 15, 1973. He was the proud son of the late Sharon Marie Brigid Boyd and Dr. Larry Charles Boyd.
Chip grew up in Augusta, GA and developed as a skilled tradesman, and became well known for his ability and knowledge to fix anything. While in Georgia, Chip met the love of his life, Reagan. They settled in Flower Mound, TX and together, they built a home for their three children and dogs.
Chip spent his life working hard and loving his family. Chip was always readily available to anyone and found his purpose in serving others. He was the life of the party and he was the party. He had a way of filling a room with his infectious laugh, and his storytelling nature drew people to him. Chip had unwavering devotion and loyalty. His love for Reagan, Logan, Hannah and Jackson was deep and unconditional. Chip’s essence is carried on through his children; Logan, immense passion, Hannah, immeasurable strength and Jackson, witty humor and unshakable confidence.
Chip loved golfing, cooking, the Georgia Bulldogs and the Dallas Stars. He spent his spare time helping others. He especially loved helping coach a Special Olympics basketball team. He was fulfilled by supporting others in reaching their goals.
Chip leaves to cherish his memory a wife, Reagan Boyd, his children Logan Haley, Hannah Marie, and Jackson Oliver; 4 brothers, Nicholas John Boyd and wife Courtney, Joshua Charles Boyd and wife Ratna, Patrick Welsh Boyd and Steffany, Michael O’Rourke Rory Boyd and wife Juliet and three sisters, Mary Margaret Molly Silvas and husband Flavio, Lindsay Catherine Boyd Jeter and husband Jared, Jennifer Christine Eiman and husband Tyson, brother in law Adrian Lumpp and wife Robyn, as well as 24 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Sharon Marie Brigid Boyd and Larry Charles Boyd.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm-6:00 pm at J.E. Foust and Sons Funeral Home, 523 S Main Sons in Grapevine, TX 76051. A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 30, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 8000 Eldorado Pkwy, Frisco TX, 75033.
