Craig Leon Bennett

He was born in Mountain View, CA on March 16, 1964 and grew up in the First Christian Church in Palo Alto, CA. In 1983, he graduated from Los Altos High School. He attended Foothill Junior College, Whitworth College, and Texas Christian University.

Mr. Bennett enjoyed spending time on a family farm in Selma, California, driving tractors and working in the vineyards. He also grew up enjoying cars, including his 1974 Bronco. Cooking was a favorite pastime and a love of food took him on many cross-country road trips. During his childhood Mr. Bennett enjoyed adventures to the coast at his families’ Santa Cruz cabin.

Throughout the years Mr. Bennett worked as a roofing contractor and machine shop supervisor. His work took him on several trips that fed his love for road trips.

Mr. Bennett is survived by his children, Jaden and Julia Bennett of Texas; his parents, Delbert Leon and Doris Marie (Drost) Bennett of Genoa, NV; his sister and brother in-law, Emily and David Pfaffenberger; nieces, nephews and family members in Nevada, Oregon, California, Montana, and Arizona.
