

Kenneth is lovingly remembered by his daughter Rhonda Foreman and her husband Clive Foreman of Atascadero, CA; daughter Rene Gage of Frisco, TX; grandchildren Amanda English of Frisco, TX and Dylan Gage of Frisco, TX; sister Betty Curry of Rowlett, TX and his brother Mark Permenter of Irving, TX. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Diane, David, Dan, Cathy, Mike, D’Anna, Tracy and Jay. He is predeceased in death by his beloved wife of 56 years, Patricia; parents Delbert Eli Permenter and mother Mayme Gilliam Permenter; brother Mack Permenter and nephew Steve Permenter. with a Masters degree in Psychology.
Ken was adored and cherished by many. He spent his professional career in school administration. His life was devoted to family time with his wife, daughters, family and friends which included fishing trips, camping, hunting, boating, and traveling. He had many friendships that lasted his lifetime. He participated in a volunteer program at the Grapevine, TX Police Department. Music became an integral part of his life, especially in his later years. His affinity for the Dallas Cowboys never wavered. Equally as important, Ken had a great passion for food, sweets, and his Tabasco sauce.
The visitation will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2018 from 10:00 a.m.-10:30 a.m. with the funeral service immediately following from 10:30 a.m.-11:00 a.m. at J. E. Foust and Son Funeral Home, 523 South Main Street, Grapevine, TX 76051. The service will be officiated by Chaplain Ben Mullen.
There will be a reception from 11:00 a.m.-12:15 p.m.
Interment will be on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, TX 75211. The procession will promptly leave J.E. Foust and Son Funeral Home, 523 South Main Street, Grapevine, TX 76051 at 12:15 p.m. Please arrive by 12:00 p.m. if joining us.

Kenneth was born in Brookston, TX on July 16, 1933. He enlisted in the Army in 1954. He was honorably discharged with a National Defense Service Medal, Korean Service Medal and a United Nations Service Medal. He attended Abilene Christian University, Texas Tech and Hardin-Simmons University graduating
