Louis Henry "Weegee" Alberti Jr. passed away Sunday, March 20, 2016, at his home in Euless. Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday in the chapel of J.E. Foust & Son Funeral Home, 523 S. Main St., Grapevine. Interment: Mr. Alberti will be laid to rest in Grapevine Cemetery. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Louis Henry "Weegee" Alberti Jr. was born to Louis and Jeanette Alberti on March 23, 1952, in Houston. Weegee's favorite thing to do was to go fishing with his friends and family. Weegee had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh, which is one of the many reasons everyone loved to be around him. Weegee was baptized in 1973 by a Seventh-day Adventist minister and rededicated his life last year. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Jeanette Alberti; his son, Bronson Alberti; and a sister, Vivian Sinks. Survivors: His loving wife, Connie Alberti. They were together 20 years and were married Dec. 24, 2001. He is also survived by his sisters, Peggy Sheffield, Donna Little, Sharon Burk and Margie Gendke; brothers, Jimmy Alberti, Freddie Alberti, Joel Alberti and Rocky Alberti; three sons; one daughter; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
