Phillip Morris Mullins, age 76, of Southlake, TX. passed away April 30, 2018. He was born on March 31, 1942 in Sedalia, MO. to the late Huston and Thelma Mullins. Phil moved to Grapevine, TX. in 1961. He married Joyce Kenyon on October 14, 1967.
Phil was a devout, born again Christian, baptized at the age of 9. He was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He loved to travel, especially to the ocean. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also loved a good joke, sometimes a bad joke, and enjoyed the humorous things in life. Phil was a proud longtime member of the National Rifle Association and Local Teamsters Union 745, Dallas, TX .
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 50 years, Joyce Mullins of Southlake, TX.; daughter Melissa Mullins Myers, originally of Grapevine, TX., son-in-law Brad Myers, and grandsons, Huston Myers and Clayton Myers, all of Alvord, TX.; numerous cousins, other extended family, and many friends.
Memorial services will be held at 3:00pm, Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Foust and Son Funeral Home with Pastor Mike McInerney officiating.
The family will receive friends at a reception immediately following the memorial service.
