Sam was born on September 7th, 1941 in Hugo, OK to parents to Hubert and Mary Latta Hibben. He graduated from Hugo High School in 1959. He joined the Marine Corp in October 1959. In May 1964 Sam married Susan Henrickson and together they had 2 children. Sam worked for Braniff Airlines and later retired from the Army Corp of Engineers in Grapevine.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Jerry Hibben.
Survivors: son, Sammy Hibben, daughter, Sherry Hibben, sister, Beth Meek, and grandchildren, Jessica and Jagger.
