

Stephanie Lynn Miller, 38, lovingly surrounded by family and friends passed from this life to the next on Friday, August 14, 2020. She was born November 2, 1981 in Indianapolis, Indiana. She grew up in Jacksonville, FL, Nashville, TN and Coppell, TX. She lived in Carrollton, TX at the time of her death.
Stephanie was adventuresome, loved life and had a courageous spirit. Her smile could light up a room. She enjoyed spending times with friends and helping the less fortunate. Stephanie was a cat whisperer and understood a wide array of her cats’ emotions and communication. She looked forward to seeing her Grandmother who went on before her in 2014. Stephanie fought a brave battle with cancer. She will be missed by her family and friends who will cherish her in their memories.
Stephanie was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Gene and Hazel Miller, maternal grandparents, Wayne and June Powell, and step-grandmother, Sylvia Leitner.
She is survived by her son, Jacob Sims of Keller, TX, partner and love, Brian Millsap of Carrollton, TX, mother and step-father, Becky and Wayne Leitner of Coppell, TX, father and step-mother, David and Louanna Miller of Monticello IL, brother Nicholas and Rebecca Miller of Newport News, VA, step-sister, Erin and Michael Allen of Fayetteville, AR, step-sister, Morgan Gotro of Providence Village, TX and step-grandparents Nolin and Shirley Werchan of Taylor, TX.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at Fellowship Church, 2450 TX-121, Grapevine, TX 76051 at 2 o’clock pm in the Worship Center. All those attending will be encouraged to wear face masks. Seating will be arranged to facilitate social distancing. A graveside service will follow at Rolling Oaks Cemetery, 400 Freeport Parkway, Coppell, TX (2 miles from the church). Family and friends will gather socially for light refreshments back at Fellowship Church after the graveside service around 3:30-4:00 pm in Room 1.
