Arthur William Hirsh, 85, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2025, in Paramus, New Jersey. Born on March 13, 1940, in New York City and lived in Great Neck, NY for most of his life. Arthur lived a full and vibrant life marked by professional success, deep compassion, and unwavering devotion to his family.

A dynamic force in New York City's garment industry for many decades, Arthur built a reputation as a powerhouse in business. His sharp intellect and tireless work ethic earned him respect throughout the industry. Yet beyond his professional accomplishments, Arthur was equally known for his generosity and commitment to giving back. He dedicated significant time and energy to philanthropic causes close to his heart and volunteered regularly at his local hospital, offering both support and kindness to those in need.

Arthur's zest for life shined through his great love for theater and travel, always eager to explore new places and experiences. His sense of humor was legendary among those who knew him—he delighted in making people laugh and smile with his great jokes and stories and warm spirit.

Above all else, Arthur cherished his friends and family. He is survived by his beloved wife Eileen; his son Robert; daughter-in-law Dara; and grandchildren Samantha, Chloe, and Logan. His love for them was evident in everything he did, and he took immense pride in their lives.

Arthur will be remembered as a loving husband, devoted father and grandfather, generous philanthropist, successful businessman, and a man who brought joy wherever he went. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May his memory bring comfort to those who loved him.
