

Eric was the rock of the family and the most loving and loyal son, brother, uncle and friend. He never missed a holiday without sending personalized gifts and messages to each family member, and he was always there with his unwavering smile and warmth.
Eric was a true original, one who cared deeply and let you know it, one who laughed hard and brought you along for the ride.
Eric loved going to concerts and music festivals, taking trips to his second hometown of New Orleans, and rooting for his NY sports teams. He had an encyclopedic knowledge of movie quotes combined with an incredibly astute sense of humor and an unmatched wit that brought laughs and joy to all those who had the special privilege of knowing him and having him in their lives.
Eric also loved his community and his hometown of Port Washington, NY. He worked diligently to help the community and the lives of those who reside there and ran a Facebook group to help the town’s residents and businesses. He was gracious, welcoming, and kind in his efforts.
Eric was incredibly intelligent, gifted, and compassionate. He loved everyone and welcomed them all equally into his life with a sense of warmth and generosity. He was kind, caring and loving, especially to the family rescue dogs who also loved him unendingly.
Eric was a devoted uncle to Sam, Lulu and Loch, and he loved and doted on them with all his heart. He was an incredibly smart, witty, and caring son, brother and uncle. Eric loved to love, and he overwhelmingly enriched the lives of his parents, siblings, family and friends.
Eric was truly a one of a kind person, and his passing leaves an incredible void. He will be missed in immeasurable ways by all who knew him.
