Jane B. Stein

STEIN--Jane B., 69 years old, passed away on March 29, 2012. Devoted mother of Frances and the late Philip. Sister of Amy and Charles Spielman and Tom and Lonnie Schwartz. Daughter of the late Alvin and Dorothy Schwartz. Loving aunt and great-aunt. Funeral services Sunday 11:00am at Temple Beth-El of Great Neck, 5 Old Mill Rd., Great Neck, NY. Interment to follow at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Glendale, New York. Shiva will be observed at the home of Frances Stein.

STEIN--Jane B. The staff and trustees of the North Shore-Long Island Jewish (LIJ) Health System are greatly saddened by the death of Trustee Jane B. Stein. Jane was a valued, long-time benefactor of North Shore University Hospital, the Katz Women's Hospital and the Philip Stein Center for Human Reproduction, located at the Alvin and Dorothy Schwartz Ambulatory Surgery Center in Manhasset, NY. Her experience as a volunteer emergency medical technician and strong interest in all things medical inspired her generous philanthropy that helped ensure that North Shore-LIJ provides quality healthcare in the communities it serves. She is survived by her daughter, Associate Trustee Frances Stein. We extend our heartfelt sympathy to Frannie and her family. Michael J. Dowling, President and CEO Richard D.
