COHEN-Rita. Our loving mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and dear friend passed away at 88 on Friday. At once beautiful, glamorous and inviting, she was loved immediately by those who met her, and deeply by those who knew her. Her warm laugh and vibrant spirit were infectious, and the joy she took in our lives made us feel special always. She was a constant source of love and comfort, even in tragedy. Hers is a legacy of kindness, compassion and strength, and has inspired our family to take care of each other always.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday, March 6 at 2pm at Riverside-Nassau North Chapel at 55 North Station Plaza in Great Neck. The family will receive Shiva visitors on Tuesday beginning at 7pm at 101 Central Park West in New York City at the home of Curtis and Stacey Lane, and on Wednesday beginning at 5pm at 518 Indian Field Rd in Greenwich, CT at the home of Jason, Jarret and Marissa Cohen.
