Rita and Family, Deepest condolences on your loss.  I have just learned of Stephen's passing.  He will be deeply missed, he was a very special person who provided a shining example of how to live life and an inspiration to many. While I did not see him often, when I had the pleasure of seeing him he always made the day brighter with his big smile, true honor to know him.

Our deepest condolences to Steve's family and the CSI & SCIP communities. We enjoyed meeting Steve during the CSI Convention and SCIP Annual Meeting in St. Louis. Steve had a wealth of knowledge that he gladly shared. He will be missed.

Having heard of Steve over many years, I finally met him at the CSI convention in Baltimore. He was very special.  My heart goes out to family and friends.

I met Stephen for the first time in St. Louis. He was charming, smiling, and a delight. He will be missed. Condolences to the family.

I worked with Stephen on the board of Specification Consultants in Independent Practice on which he served as Treasurer.  In planning our annual meeting, I had to coordinate my planning and expenses with him.  He was supportive and professional.  I was glad that I had the opportunity to serve with him.  My thoughts and prayers go our to his family.

Steve was a professional mentor to us all. We will miss him dearly. My deepest sympathies to his family.

We are so sorry to hear about Steve. May God grant you peace and strength to cope during this difficult time.

Steve was always very fatherly to those of us who were young architects 30 years ago. He will be greatly missed.

Was truly shocked to receive this news. Steve was a second father to me, my husband and I will miss him. Love and prayers to Rita and the entire family.
