

Alice “Beth” Snedden, 87 of Evans, got her wings on June 10, 2016. She was born of September 24, 1928 to Neill and Salome Smith in Greeley. She graduated from Greeley High School in 1946 and attended UNC. Beth was married to Howard “Butch” Snedden for 25 years. She retired in 1991 after 33 years in the Weld County Assessor’s office.
Beth was a member and officer in the American Business Women’s Association (ABWA) for several years and enjoyed trips to national conventions and received various awards. For years she was in a bowling league; and had several friends. She enjoyed various collections, hobbies, and her roses. Her main focus was always family, whom received wise advice, her time and great hugs.
She is survived by her sister Joyce Tennis, AZ; her daughters Pennie (Quentin) Goodwin, and Randee (Ron) Cook, both of Greeley; granddaughters Jodee (Andrew) Horovitz, Jill (Joel) Helgerson, and Brecken Cook; great-grandchildren, Sophee and Sam Horovitz, Abbie Anthony, and Ayden Cook; as well as several nieces and nephews, in-laws, and extended family.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, June 30, 2016 at the Allnutt Macy Chapel. A luncheon reception will immediately follow Beth’s “Celebration of Life” at the Greeley Country Club.
