

Alice Lucille Lesser, age 92, of Greeley, Colorado passed away on May 9, 2025. She most recently resided in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, but spent most of her life in Greeley. She was born to Martin Luzon Buckendorf and Elizabeth (Lamar) Buckendorf in Greeley, Colorado on September 11, 1932.
Alice graduated from Eaton High School and attended Parks Business College. Shortly after attending business college, she met Charles Lesser and they married in 1953.
Alice was a bookkeeper for several businesses in the Greeley area. She went on to become an Adjudicator for the State of Colorado Division of Unemployment.
Alice enjoyed her free time fishing with Charles, collecting teapots, following the NFR and PBR rodeos, and traveling. She enjoyed making her home and yard a beautiful place to live.
Surviving are her three sons, Rod (Mary), Stan, and Russell (Pamela) Lesser; daughter-in-law, Patty Lesser; grandchildren, Mica Lesser, Lisa Crist, Tara Anderson, Charlotte Lesser, Niles Ludwig, Nicholas Ownby, and Emily Zavorotny; 8 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Charles, her son Rex, and brothers Chris and Dick Buckendorf.
A viewing will be held at Stoddard Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens, and a reception will follow after the graveside service at Stoddard Funeral Home, both in Greeley, Colorado.
