

At the age of 14, Alicia moved with her family to Greeley. She graduated from Greeley High School and attended UNC. She was a teacher in the Greeley School District for over 20 years.
Church was very important to Alicia. She was a member of Healing Way church.
Alicia was young at heart, had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh. She enjoyed watching the Broncos and spending time with her family. She enjoyed listening to Country Music and Elvis. She also enjoyed thrift store shopping, working on crossword puzzles and reading.
Alicia is survived by her daughter Laura Cordova (Dave) of Austin, Texas; daughter-in-law Julie Villa of Greeley; sons David Villa (Jeanette Lopez-Villa) of Greeley, George Villa (Eleanor) of Evans and Paul Villa of Portland, Oregon; sisters Rose Alcantar (Santiago) of Colorado Springs and Norma Purdy of Espanola, New Mexico; brothers Rudy Martinez of Cheyenne, Wyoming and Ronald Martinez of Greeley; half-brothers Aaron Martinez (Joanne) and Jerome Martinez of Greeley; eight Grandchildren and nine Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Steven Villa and two brothers Vernon Martinez and David Martinez.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at Stoddard Funeral Home.
