To the Armijo family, I extend my condolence. If you can imagine the time when Alvina will be resurrected back to life on earth where there will be no more old age, sickness or having to worry about dying again, then you have a glimpse of what life will be like under God's Kingdom that we pray for when saying the ""Lord's Prayer."" To verify this promise in your Bible, read Isaiah twenty-six nineteen, Job thirty-three twenty-five, Isaiah thirty-three twenty-four, Isaiah twenty-five eight and Matthew six ten. We can put our faith and confidence in these promises because we know God does not lie as stated at Numbers twenty-three nineteen.

I met Alvina many years ago in Rocky Ford, CO.  She was dating my father at that time.   I know my father cared a great deal for her at that time.  I remember how beautiful she was.  She laughed a lot and I had so much fun with her in that short time.  I danced the ""Hokie Pokie"" with her one night at a dance.  She was so kind and friendly to me.  I've never forgotten her and we never saw each other again, to my sorrow.   What I did find many years later was a beautiful, loving sister, Carmie.  My wife, Jo Ann, and I look forward to meeting her after all the emails and calls we've made to each other.
We send our condolences to Carmie and all her family and know that Alvina is at peace.

While I only met Alvina one time, I know how important she was to her entire family.  May you find some comfort in knowing that she is happily resting with her Heavenly Father.  My thoughts are prayers are with all of you at this time.

Aunt Alvina was a beautiful soul., whose heart was always filled with faith and love.  I enjoyed sitting with her listening to stories of her and dad's childhood. When I lived in Denver, Uncle Gilbert and Aunt Alvina were there to help me get settled and made sure I was safe.  I will always remember the smell of freshly made tortillas which filled her home.  I learned so much from her, she will be greatly missed.  I love you Aunt Alvina and I wish you were with us,..I find comfort that one day we will see each other again.
