

Anita Lea (Curtis) Williams, 70, of Greeley, died Friday, November 28, 2014 at her home. Anita was born on January 25, 1944 in Pueblo. She was adopted by Lee and Elenor Curtis. She received her bachelor’s degree at Western State College in Gunnison.
At college, she met David Williams. They married on November 1, 1965. After graduation, they moved to Denver, where she began to raise their four children. She was a fourth grade teacher at Braeburn Baptist Academy in Houston, Texas.
Anita was an active member of the Greeley Baptist Temple.
She is survived by two sons, Samuel Williams and Bill Williams of Austin, Texas; two daughters and their husbands, Stephanie and Darryl Boyd and Shellie and Shawn Kibler all of Greeley; a sister-in-law, Mona Williams of Greeley; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Rodney and Royce Williams of Sterling; a brother, Vernon Curtis; grandchildren, Justin, Allyson and Logan Williams, Averi and Andi Boyd, Joey Williams and Noah Kibler.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David Williams and her parents.
Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Friday, December 5, 2014 at Stoddard Funeral Home. Celebration of Life will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 6, 2014 at Greeley Baptist Temple, 9th Street and 14th Avenue, Greeley. Interment Sunset Memorial Gardens.
