Anna LaRue Bauer (Carey) went to meet her creator on August 5, 2019. Anna was born on November 17, 1929 to Charlie and Lucille Carey. Lucille Carey died during childbirth and Anna was raised by Arthur and Mamie Bradley. In 1950, Anna married Clarence Bauer and they had five children. Anna was a homemaker for most of her life, raising her children in the Kersey area supporting them in all their activities. She had many friends that were with her throughout the years raising their families, playing cards, camping, and most of all laughing together. In the later years, Anna could always be found supporting her grandchildren in many of the same activities that her children had enjoyed.
Anna had such an appreciation for the simple things in life such as a beautiful sky, and most of all spending time with her family. Anna had a wonderful life with a big family and many friends that benefited from her wisdom, love, and laughter. Anna will be greatly missed by many but we find comfort in knowing she is together with her god, her beloved husband, and family and friends that have left this earth before her.
Anna is survived by her children, Bob (Phyllis) Bauer of Wyoming, Bill Bauer of Kersey, Jim Bauer and Mike Waller of Palm Springs, California, Betty (Jim) Freeman of Greeley, and Jack (Kris) Bauer of Kersey; grandchildren, Christi Rambo of Estes Park, Kyle (Gloria) Bauer of Greeley, Chad (Kristi) Bauer of Johnstown, Bryan (Ruby) Bauer of Kersey, Kristin (Jake) Owens of Carr, Brad (Bryttnee) Bauer of Springfield, Oregon and Alyssa and Jackson Bauer of Kersey and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Bauer, daughter-in-law, Julie Bauer, and her parents.
