Archie graduated from high school in 1950. In 1959, he was introduced to Mary Ann Badial by her brother. It was meant to be and they were married on February 20, 1960.
Archie embraced his Native Culture. He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church and started a Boy Scout Troop for the under privileged youth on the East side, where he served as Scout Master. Archie worked at a feed lot, which went by several names through the years, but is currently Cervi Cattle Company, from the age of 17 until his retirement at the age of 76. Prior to his retirement, he worked as the office manager.
Archie raised his great-grandson, Lucas T. Ruibal, until he was ten years old, by himself. He was a loving husband, gentle and understanding father and an active grandfather. Archie was a jokester and loved making people laugh and sharing his knowledge. He loved birds and all animals, but he loved his grandchildren the most.
Archie is survived by his daughter, Beverly Ruibal (Gilbert) of Greeley; six grandchildren, Margaret Ybarra of Greeley, Elias Ybarra Jr. of Denver, Anthony Ruibal (Elizabeth) and Amanda Ruibal (Efrin) all of Goodland, Kansas, Chelsey Ruibal of Ft. Collins and Kerystin of Greeley; 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Ann and son, Archie Jr. who passed away January 16, 2017.

Mary Ann Ruibal, 76, passed away September 2012. She was born December 15, 1938 in Denver, Colorado to John and Andrea (Juarez) Badial.
Mary Ann was raised in Eaton, Colorado, graduating from Eaton High School in 1956. Before meeting Archie, she lived in Orange County, California for two years, where she worked in retail. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and cooking. She worked at UNC in the kitchen for four years. Mary Ann enjoyed babysitting and served as a Den Mother for Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts.
Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents, John and Andrea (Juarez) Badial, brother, Steve Badial and a stillborn daughter.
Recitation of the Rosary will be at 9:00 a.m. Friday, April 22, 2022 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m., both at St. Peter Catholic Church, 915 12th Street, Greeley. Inurnment will be at Linn Grove Cemetery.
