Barry Dewayn August, of Evans, Colorado went to be with our Heavenly Father on December 26, 2020 at home. He was born August 31,1956, in Monterrey, California to Artis August and Zolina Waiters. Zolina Waiters, Ingrid Rene Moore (sister), Curtis Bernard August (brother), Angela Darling Robinson (sister), Autumn Nelson (sister) and Artis Larry August, Sr. (brother), preceded him in death. Barry was married to Patricia J. Mitcher-Pride August that union brought forth two loving children: Tuesday August and Patrick Pride. Barry received his formal education from Eastwood High School. He was self-employed as a trunk driver and enjoyed his retirement for the past year. He was a die hard Oakland Raiders fan who enjoyed cooking for family and friends. He will be remembered for his skills in the kitchen, on the grill and enjoying the simple things in life. Barry was a loving, caring, and joyful son, brother, father, uncle and friend. Barry is survived by two children Tuesday August and Patrick Pride. Left to celebrate his life is his father Artis August, siblings Rosemary Buck, Wanda Biggers, Tamerah Hudgins, Antoinette Hughley, Paulette August-Spicer, Calvin August and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends. Barry’s funeral Service will be held Friday January 8, 2021 at 11 O’clock am at Stoddard Funeral & Cremation & Sunset Memorial Gardens services in Greeley, Colorado.
