Bartolome Rodriguez, 79, passed away in the early morning hours of January 1st 2017, at his retirement home in Fort Collins, CO, with his loving family by his side.

Bartolome was born in Zapata, TX on April 5, 1937 to Calixto and Brigida Rodriguez. He moved to Brush, CO in the 1970s, where he raised his family. He worked at the Sigman’s pork processing plant and as a Construction Contractor. He later opened a retail business, Casa Rodriguez, in Fort Morgan, CO. Bartolome was an avid hunter, and enjoyed the outdoors and his Family.

He is survived by: daughter, Rosa Jimenez and son-in-law Frank Jimenez of Fort Collins, CO and daughter Grace Rodriguez of Greeley, CO; 5 grandchildren, Victor Jimenez and Nicole Skipwith of Fort Collins, CO, Jaime Gonzales of Dumas, TX, Bridget Rodriguez and Bart Rodriguez, III of Greeley, CO; 5 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Derly and Rene Rodriguez and one sister, Beatriz Gutierrez, all from Zapata, TX.

He is preceded in death by one son, Bartolome Rodriguez, II of Greeley, CO, his parents and brother, Calixto Rodriguez, Jr. of Zapata, TX.

Visitation will be held at Allnutt Funeral Service-Drake Chapel, 650 W Drake Road, Fort Collins, CO, on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at 12:00pm until Funeral service at 2:00pm. Reception will follow.
