Baruch Joseph Bachofer, 56, was born April 6, 1970, in Denver, Colorado, and passed away April 6, 2026. Baruch will be remembered as a spirited, talented, and free man whose life was marked by deep love for family, an open-hearted way of living, and a steady determination to build, create, and help others.
Growing up in the country on a farm, Baruch had the kind of childhood that makes for the best stories—full of mud, laughter, and adventure. He participated in 4H, proudly showing pigs, and spent countless hours fishing and bull-snake hunting, and he orchestrated all of the lizard races. He also liked making models, and at 16, he entered and participated in a demolition derby, building his derby car from the frame up. One more example of the fearless fun he carried with him. By all accounts, he had a lot of adventures growing up, and that joyful spirit never left him.
Baruch’s hands were made for creating. He was a talented craftsman who loved leatherwork and enjoyed building things. He loved classic muscle cars and the roar of their engines. He brought that same energy—focused, curious, and all-in—into the projects and passions that filled his days.
For many years, Baruch owned and operated his own construction business. He was the kind of person who would make and do anything for his loved ones and others, turning care into action and ideas into something real. His work reflected who he was: capable, generous, and always willing to take on what needed to be done.
Above all, Baruch lived his life freely. He was spiritual, and nothing constrained him. That legacy—of independence, faith, and living true—will continue to echo in the people who loved him and in the many ways he showed up for them.
