Betty Ann Spindler

Betty Ann Spindler, 78, of La Salle, passed away August 14, 2018 in Loveland. Betty was born on June 22, 1940 to Melvin F. and Mary M. (Engman) Keding in Marshfield, WI. She was married to Kenneth Spindler on September 29, 1962 in Stratford WI.

She attended Auburndale Grade School in WI.

Betty worked for Weld BOCES as a Bus Driver and a Supervisor for twelve years, and for UNC as a Baker for seven years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of La Salle, a member VFW Auxiliary 6624 and Order of Eastern Star Garden City Chapter #3.

She was an excellent bowler, loved to go fishing and camping with her best friends, and worked with Special Olympics. She enjoyed softball, skiing, loved to cook and bake, making wedding cakes for family and friends, as well as birthday cakes for her grandkids, but more importantly, she loved having family gatherings.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Spindler; children, CherylAnn (Gary) Craven-Lindblad, Carla Golden, Todd (ReNae Hayes) Spindler, Carmen (Joseph Bockensette) Magill,

and Cynthia (Ronald) Hongell; grandchildren, Kent (Missie) Craven, Sean (Brenna) Craven, Anja (Adriel) Walter, Geoffrey (Mari) Schell, Tairyn Spindler, Kaily (Craig) Bryant, Amethyst (David) Nagy, Aleisha (Ben) Baumann, Ronald, Bryce and Byron Hongell; Great-grandchildren, Destiny, Skye, Taylon, Zannah, Keegan, Parker, Addison, Declan, Bryson, Wesley, Nolan, Maddison, Verity, and Melissa; eleven brothers and two sisters.

She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, one sister-in-law, and her great-grandson, Aiden.

Visitation will be at 9:00 A.M. Monday, August 20, 2018 at the Allnutt Macy Chapel.

Services will be at 10:00 A.M. Monday, August 20, 2018 at the Allnutt Macy Chapel, with interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
