

“Brian Cole Moldenhauer, age 61, of Greeley, Colorado passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, September 17, 2017. He was born June 21, 1956, the son of Alan and Vivienne. He grew up on their family farm outside of Genoa and graduated from Genoa High School in 1974. After high school, he attended college at the University of Northern Colorado.
Brian was co-owner of Crossroads Insurance in Eaton, Colorado. He enjoyed working as an agent to serve farmers, ranchers, small businesses, and families for more than 20 years.
More than anything, Brian enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He spent his free time cooking, gardening, camping, fishing, hunting, and riding his motorcycle. Many of his activities included the family and friends he loved so much. His generous spirit will be missed and remain in the hearts and thoughts of his family and friends forever.
Brian is survived by his daughter, Allison Maness (Garret) of Santa Rosa, New Mexico; his step-daughter Michelle DeNieu (Tim) of Denver, Colorado; one brother, Philip Moldenhauer (Susan) of Tulsa, Oklahoma; one sister Kay Kerlin (Danny) of Westminster, Colorado; three grandchildren, Lily, Zackary, and Adalyn; his former spouse and mother of his children, Penni Haimson; and countless friends.
Brian was preceded in death by his parents, Alan and Vivienne Moldenhauer and his sister, Beth Ann.
Memorial services will be held 10:30 A.M. Friday, September 22, 2017, at Macy Chapel, 702 13th Street, Greeley, Colorado. A lunch reception at The New Plantation, 3520 South 11th Avenue, Evans Colorado, will follow the service.
