Bruce Allen Wiggin

Bruce was raised in Primghar, Iowa, graduating from Primghar High School in 1952. He served in the US Army, stationed in Germany, from 1957-1959.

On October 15, 1960 he married Joyce Elaine Mercer in Boulder, Colorado.

Bruce worked all his life in transportation starting out in various positions with Union Pacific Railroad. He then worked at Great Western Sugar in transportation before moving to Greeley, where he worked in the transportation department at Monfort of Colorado. He ultimately opened his own transportation consulting business with his wife, Joyce from which they both retired in 1995.

Bruce loved the outdoors, camping, fishing and hiking. He was a sports enthusiast and loved coaching his son’s baseball teams. The Chicago Cubs and Denver Broncos were his favorite sports teams.

Bruce is survived by his daughter, Lynn Wiggin of Greeley; two sons, Mike Wiggin of Greeley and Greg Wiggin of Denver; one grandchild, Brandon Wiggin of Colorado Springs and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Joyce.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, May 16, 2016 at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
