He was married to Denise Standing in 1978 and is survived by his daughter Jessica (Sean) Maloney, grandchildren Patrick, April, & Heather, and his son, Joshua Sweigard grandchildren Jacob, Chamber, & Liam.
Calvin was an Aereospace Engineer for N.A.S.A., McDonell Douglas & Boeing. He owned Cal's Handyman Service. He enjoyed Country dancing, puzzles, bowling,and tennis. He was a member of the Masonic Century Lodge #190. Calvin never met a stranger and would help anyone in need.
Calvin is survived by his mother, Martha (Blair) Sweigard of Greeley, siblings, Lora (Steve) Cox, Larry, and Karen (Frank) Kellogg and preceded in death by his farther, Robert Sweigard.
Visitation will be from 8:30-10:00 a.m. Thursday, November 19, 2015 at Stoddard Funeral Home. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, November 19, 2015 at Stoddard Funeral Home. Interment Sunset Memorial Garden.
