Cecil Lewis Gregory

Cecil Lewis Gregory, a resident of Greeley, Colorado, passed away on January 12, 2026, at the age of 76. Born on September 9, 1949, in Greeley, Colorado, Cecil was known for his hard-working and faithful nature.

Cecil dedicated 34 years of his career to the Greeley/Evans School District 6, retiring in 2002. Following his retirement, he continued to serve his community by working at Trinity Episcopal Church for many years. His commitment to his work and community was unwavering.

On February 5, 1983, Cecil married Cheryl Grant, and they shared 42 wonderful years together. They were blessed with a daughter, Megan Gregory, who was born on August 13, 1992. Cecil's love for his family was evident in everything he did.

Cecil was a man of faith, deeply involved in his church community at Greeley Baptist Church. He loved to help others and found joy in serving the church. His dedication to his faith and family was a testament to his character.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ava and Lillie (Jones) Gregory, and siblings Freadth, Velma, Ava Jr, Edna, Raymond, B, Cloyde, James, and Betty. Cecil is survived by his beloved spouse Cheryl, his daughter Megan, and siblings Richard and Deloris, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
