Charles ""Tom Partridge

Longtime resident Charles “Tom” Partridge died on January 3, 2017. He was 82 years old. Charles Thomas Partridge was born in Cornell, IL on January 27, 1934. He married Sallie Sweet on August 6, 1955 and recently celebrated their 61st anniversary in 2016. Tom earned his Bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from Millikin University Decatur, IL, in 1956. He was employed for 37 years as a salesman and director of sales education by NCR Corporation. He was a member of the Estes Park Baptist Church and a faithful provider of his family. Tom served as a Deacon and Sunday School Teacher for the Church. He was an avid tennis player and fan. Tom is survived by his wife Sallie of Estes Park, sons Michael Partridge (Amy) of Iowa City, IA and Scott Partridge (Kaye) of Las Flores, CA, daughters Sherry Shearron (Glover) of Westerville, OH and Cynthia Pearson (John) of Xenia, OH, three Grandchildren Kara, Kelli and Erin. Sister, Patricia Burkitt of Pontiac, IL, step grandchildren and step Great Grandchildren in Ohio and Florida. A memorial service will be held at Estes Park Baptist Church on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers the family requests a donation to a favorite charity or the Estes Park Baptist Church.
