Cheryl lived in Denver until 1973. She later moved to Longmont in 1974 until 1985, then making her home in Eaton. She attended Jefferson High School, and after moving to Eaton, she began working for the Weld County Title Company until she retired in 1999.
She loved to dance, going camping and fishing, listening to music, and taught herself how to quilt and enjoying this hobby for over 20 years.
She is survived by her husband, Gary Gene Ferguson; sons, Jeffery and Lonnie; daughter, Dawneen; sister, Sylvia Johnson; grandchildren, Garrett, Sidney, Jaden, Corbin, Madison, Caleb, Bailey, Tanner and Gage, and one great-grandchild on the way.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Darl and Rosemary Ferguson and a brother Richard Johnson.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, March 25, 2022 at the Allnutt Macy Chapel, Greeley, CO 80634 at 2:00 pm.
