David was a lifelong investigative journalist, activist, photographer, speaker, best selling author, and award-winning film producer and director. His multimillion copy books (co-authored with the late Charles E. Sellier) In Search of Noah’s Ark and The Lincoln Conspiracy were both made into major movies of the same titles. The Lincoln Conspiracy was on the New York Times Best Sellers List for 22 weeks, reaching the #2 position, and earned him his doctorate.
For 12 years David was the Vice-President of Marketing and Senior Producer at Grizzly Adams Productions, producers of 500 family friendly movies, documentaries, TV specials, and series including ""Ancient Secrets of the Bible"" and ""Encounters with the Unexplained"".
He authored 40 major literary works, including 27 nonfiction books, and has been the recipient of 300 national/international film/book awards. He received numerous awards for producing and directing the TV docudramas ""Heroes of Flight 93"" and ""George W. Bush: Faith in the White House"". The latter is in the Bush Presidential Library and the Smithsonian.
He retired in 2012, but continued to consult with and mentor other filmmakers and authors. He enjoyed working with his companion Victoria managing his investment properties, her music, the Hour For Peace NoCo, and other charities. They enjoyed their dog, attending dinner theater and concerts, and feeding the birds, squirrels, and rabbits in their back yard. He also loved reading and spending time with friends and family, especially his three daughters to whom he was totally devoted. He remained an avid photographer and world traveler, most recently taking an extended trip to Southeast Asia. A devout Christian, he was active in Crossroads Fellowship and Foundations Church, both in Loveland.
