David Charles Faurer

David Charles Faurer was born on 12/4/1957 in Philadelphia, PA. He passed gently on 10/6/2022 with his wife and children by his side in Loveland, CO. He is survived by his mother Carol Faurer (née Norris), brother Martin Faurer, sister Linda Albin (née Faurer), his loving wife Rebecca Faurer (née Russell), and children Ryan Faurer and Melinda Carpenter (née Faurer). Dave took great pride in his family, including his 5 grandchildren, 2 from Ryan and his wife Linda (née Vogt) and 3 from Melinda and her husband Dylan. He was quick to share stories and souvenirs from his many years serving his country and traveling the globe. He protected this country through his work with the Department of Defense and had notable posts in England and Germany, among many in the states.. His passions were many and varied, and when he wasn’t spending time with his family he could be found collecting books, musical instruments, and exploring many different cuisines. He was an avid writer and film buff, and could give you facts and details about any James Bond movie. We will remember Dave with a smile on his face and a waiting hug, no matter the day. An open house will be held at Christ Community Church at 1301 15th St., Greeley, CO, 80631 on 10/27/2022 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM for friends and family.
