

He was born in McCook, Nebraska and moved to LaSalle, Colorado in 1958. In high school he met Linda Stephens, they were married February 25, 1970 and have been celebrating their life together for nearly 43 years.
For all who remember him, know he had a passion for music and was a professional drummer for 50 years. A few of the bands he played with were: Blue Steel, Godfree Bottoms, Flying Home and Price of Blues. He performed for President Ford’s Family, was the opening act for Santana, Guess Who, Geronimo Black, Firefall, and Derek Trucks. David also Served in The Air National Guard and was a Photo Copier Technician for over 15 years. He was in the first graduating class from Aim’s Aviation Technology and received his Pilot’s License. He was a talented athlete and was the Valley High School quarterback, wrestled and was in track, he still holds many school records today.
David was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend. He is survived by his wife, Linda; daughters, Candice and husband Gregory of LaSalle, Wendy of California, son, DJ and wife Elisha of Greeley; granddaughters, Mercedes, Jazzmyn and Mckayla, grandson, Jatin. Brother, Robert and wife Deb Price of Maryland, 2 Sisters, Barbara and husband Robert Acree of Virginia, Leona Vannoy of Denver. He was preceded in death by father James Price, stepmother Elsie Price and mother Marjorie Price of LaSalle.
A memorial service with reception will be held in his honor on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at 10:00AM at First Presbyterian Church, 51 Church Court, LaSalle, Colorado. There will be a burial service at Sunset Memorial Gardens, 3400 West 28th Street, Greeley, following the memorial service at 1:00PM.
