Debra Jean Sanks

Debra was born on November 24, 1952, in Denver, Colorado, where she spent much of her life. Over the years, she also lived in Littleton, Greeley, Eloy, and Casa Grande, but no matter where she was, she brought warmth, strength, and a fierce devotion to her family.

A proud graduate of Abraham Lincoln High School (Class of 1970), Debra went on to attend Colorado State University. She married the love of her life, Ralph J. Sanks, on August 7, 1971, in Denver. Together, they built a life rooted in love, loyalty, and deep family values.

Debra wore many hats with intelligence and grace; she was an accomplished office manager and realtor, but her most cherished roles were those of mother and wife. Her family always came first. She was fiercely protective, endlessly supportive, and lovingly loyal. As a mother, she refereed soccer games, coached her children, and created a home filled with care and structure.

Debra was a woman of quiet strength; humble, ethical, and brave. She never sought the spotlight, but those who knew her saw her as a true protector. She valued honesty, lived with compassion, and gave generously of herself to the people and causes she loved.

Her passions brought joy to those around her. She adored dogs, especially Chihuahuas, and had a deep love for music, with a soft spot for the Beatles, the Eagles, and classic rock. She enjoyed crocheting, often making baby blankets that became family treasures. Known for her love of stylish shoes and fashionable clothes, Debra also kept an immaculate home and appreciated order in all things.

Debra is survived by her devoted husband of 54 years, Ralph J. Sanks; her loving children, Adam Sanks and Noel Dice; her brother, Ralph Pendell; her grandchildren Blake Dice, Cara Sanks, and Kenzie Clymer; and her great-grandchildren, Gunner Clymer and Rae Clymer.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Jackie Pendell.

A Celebration of Life will be held on October 25, 2025, at 11:00 am at Allnutt Funeral & Cremation - Macy, located at 6521 W. 20th Street, Greeley, Colorado, 80634.
