D.J. was a journeyman carpenter who loved doing projects for family and friends. D.J. never knew a stranger and was known for his kindness, especially to the homeless and elderly because “That might be Jesus”. He also greatly enjoyed playing and sharing his music.
D.J. is survived by siblings Don Fred of Littleton; Frances Estes Elrod (Mike) of Loveland; Connie Estes Larson (Mike) of Evans; many nieces and nephews and special friend Sharon. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Ronnie.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday at Stoddard Funeral Home. Interment at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
