Donald “Don” Rabe, 90, of Loveland passed away on January 10, 2015. Don was born on October 13, 1924 in Maywood, IL to Fredrick and Elsie (Luecke) Rabe. He graduated in 1942 from Proviso Township High School in Maywood, IL. Don served in the Pacific Theater during World War II. He married Alverne Bihler on November 16, 1946.
Don worked for Argonne National Laboratory and retired in 1987. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Loveland.
Don is survived by wife, Alverne; son Bruce Rabe; and daughter Jane Rabe. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Ralph Rabe.
