She was born on December 5, 1941 in Guthrie Center, Iowa to Myron and Lillian Allen. Donna attended Guthrie Center High School and graduated in 1960. Shortly after graduating, she married in June of 1966. Donna later had her daughter, Penney. She worked in public retail for years until working for the Weld County Public Trustee's Office where she eventually retired from.
Donna was a member of Lutheran Church in Greeley, Colorado, an active member of Garden City Chapter #3 of Eastern Star, and an avid member of the Women's Bowling League also in Greeley. In her spare time, Donna enjoyed bowling, crocheting, knitting, practicing embroidery, and spending time in her garden.
Donna is survived by her daughter, Penney (Stephanie) Bauer of Gainesville, Florida; sister, Caroline Seeley of Panora, Iowa; three grandchildren, Nichole Elliott of Bloomington, Illinois, Ashley Elliott of Gainesville, Florida, and Russel Elliott of Salt Lake City, Utah; and one great-grandchild, Raelynn Elliott of Gainesville, Florida. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Myron and Lillian, and her brother, Duane Allen.
