

Edith “Edie” Pearl Ault, 80 of Greeley, CO, passed away at Northglenn Heights Assisted Living and Memory Care in Northglenn, CO, on May 24, 2015. She was born December 4, 1934 in Humboldt, KS, to Ennis W. and Mildred Marcena (Henry) Booe. She married Ervin H. Ault on December 21, 1961 in Ft. Lupton, CO. They divorced in 1975.
She graduated from Oswego High School in 1952. She retired from Mt. Bell Telephone Company in 1995; she also worked at Wheeler Realty and Monfort packing. Edie lived primarily in Greeley from 1958 until 2011 when she moved to Northglenn.
Edie was a member of Amalgamated Butcher Workman-Local 641, Communications Workers of America-AFL, CIO, CLC and Telephone Pioneers of America-Prairie Mountain Council.
Edie enjoyed spending time with family, gardening, crochet and cross stitch, reading, crossword puzzles and country music.
She is survived by her sons Chip and Bo Ault; daughter Niki (Ron) Stice-Probst and Jonni K. (Michael) Penrod; brother Billy Ray Booe; sister-in-law Bonnie Booe; 16 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Dick and Kurt Booe; and step-daughter Brenda Williams.
The family would like to give special thanks to the caregivers and staff at Northglenn Heights Assisted Living and Memory Care.
A visitation will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, May 29, 2015 at the Allnutt Macy Chapel with services to follow starting at 11:00 A.M. Interment at Linn Grove Cemetery.
